I had been looking for a 5.8 GHz cordless phone with 3 handsets, caller ID and speaker phone w/o the answering machine. One important feature of a phone is lighted keypad, this feature is never mentioned when features of a phone are listed. With the cost of this phone and all the other features, I would have never thought that the lighted keypad would not have been a feature on this phone. With the cost over $120, it should be a given. Should the phone be needed in an emergency in a dark place, you have to feel around to dial. I am looking for another phone!!!

We have been shopping around for phone systems and settled on this. We can hardly hear out of the phones and I can't wait to return them. If you have a noisy house don't bother buying these.

We bought these phones and they worked well to begin with, but after a week or so we could barely hear the talker; I tried every adjustment possible but it never got better. Disappointing because they were easy to set up, didn't need jacks for the 2 extra handsets, and everything else about them was pretty great. Not being able to hear the talker became unbearable! Had to return them...don't know if there was anything else I could have tried with them...

This phone comes with three handsets, but you only have to hook it up to one jack and that is great. The other two phone chargers just needed an electrical outlet. The phone's battery life is wonderful. I talked for four plus hours without ever recharging and the battery was still going strong. I also tested out the handset by taking it from the base on the third floor and carrying it into the basement two floor belows and not one peak of stactic. I really like it. The voice clarity is great. I was talking to someone on the phone and they didn't know I was using the speakerphone mode until I told them! So that was nice!!!!!
